Mondays and Goals

Mondays can be pretty tough.  It’s hard to start your week again after having a laid-back weekend.  And, I did have a laid-back weekend; or at least Sunday.  I actually slept until almost 8:15.  This is a practically unheard of occurrence.  I missed my pre-dawn walk, and wonder of wonders never did take a walk.  No yoga either.  It was just one of those days.  I spent the entire afternoon reading a book that needs to go back to the library on Tuesday; and except for washing and hanging out a load of clothes, cleaning a bathroom and taking a trip to BJ’s for much needed cat litter and cat food, I truly did spend the day on my butt reading.

I was so busy reading that I forgot to write down my goals for the week.  Luckily they are simple.  I start babysitting for the summer this week, and my goals are:  have fun with the girls!  Easy, right?  I can’t wait.  I’ve got the materials for the scrapbooks they make, and have some fun activities in mind.

Luckily, this was an easy week, so hopefully my lack of goals will be okay.  I did set some up, and will continue to cross them out as I finish.  It was wonderful to take a day off.  As long as one day doesn’t morph into more!  But I think you agree, we all need a day off every once in a while.
